Ping Identity, an enterprise identity company, has raised $35 million in new venture funding led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. New investor Ten Eleven Ventures and several existing investors also participated. Ping provides identity and access management solutions to organizations and their employees, giving them one-click access to any application from any device. The company has raised a significant amount of VC since its initial $6 million funding in 2004. Prior to the new round, its valuation had risen from $10 million in 2004 to over $238 million at the time of its $44 million financing in July 2013. Previous investors include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, SAP Ventures and Volition Capital, among others.
