Affinity gobbles up Burger King business in South Korea

Affinity Equity Partners has reportedly agreed to pay approximately $170 million to acquire full control of the Burger King franchise in South Korea from VIG Partners. Burger King, which is owned globally by Restaurant Brands International, operates 240 locations in the country. VIG Partners had acquired the business in 2012 for about KRW110 billion ($89 million).
