November 08, 2013
Silverton Partners, a VC firm investing in Texas-based companies, has raised $75 million for its fourth fund, which includes $10 million raised from local entrepreneurs. Silverton Partners IV will be similar to its predecessor, with a heavy focus on startups in the enterprise software and consumer Internet sectors. The firm's third fund has seen several successful exits, including Convio, which went public earlier this year, and BlackLocus, which was acquired by Home Depot in 2012.
