Bain Capital is leading a secondary offering for Bright Horizons Family Solutions (NYSE: BFAM). The firm is selling about 8.38 million shares in the company, a national child care, early education and work/life solutions provider. Bright Solutions went public in January this year, raising about $222 million in its IPO. It has been a Bain portfolio company since 2008, when the firm took it private for about $1.3 billion. Bain will retain a 66.7% stake in the company following the latest offering.
