Of the 183 VC-backed companies founded since 2003 that have received a $1 billion+ valuation through an IPO, acquisition or financing round, 38% have been based in Silicon Valley. That's not necessarily a shocking statistic, so we went deeper to find out the "unicorn success rate"—the number of unicorns compared to the number of total companies—in regions across North America and Europe (and Israel). Click here to browse these regional valuation figures via interactive maps that we've created.
