Big Data Platform SiSense Completes $30M Financing

SiSense, a provider of Big Data analytics for non-technical business users, has raised $30 million in new funding led by DFJ Growth, with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Genesis Partners and Opus Capital. The company enables users to join, analyze and visualize growing data sets from a multitude of structured and unstructured data sources. With hundreds of customers in 49 countries, including global brands like Target and Samsung, SiSense continues to aggressively expand customer acquisition worldwide. The latest round of funding will enable the company to expand its team, increase its global footprint and deliver technology that continues to challenge legacy business intelligence players. SiSense has now raised over $53 million in total funding to date; it last raised a $10 million Series B round (led by Battery Ventures) in April 2013.
