Blackstone's Apria to Sell Coram Business for $2.1B

Apria Healthcare Group, a PE-backed healthcare company, is selling Coram, its specialty infusion services and enteral nutrition unit, to CVS Caremark (NYSE: CVS) for about $2.1 billion. Coram provides infusion therapies and nutrition services to more than 20,000 patients each month through a national network of over 85 locations. Apria is majority-owned by The Blackstone Group, which took the company private in 2008 for about $1.6 billion.
