Pinnacle Foods, a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded food products, priced its initial public offering at $20 per share. The company sold 29 million shares. Based in Parsippany, NJ, Pinnacle is behind brands like Duncan Hines, Log Cabin, Vlasic, Nalley and Mrs. Butterworth's. The Blackstone Group owned a 95% stake in the company before the offering and did not sell shares in the offering. The firm acquired Pinnacle in 2007 for approximately $2.16 billion. PF shares closed at $22.21 on their first day of trading on the NYSE under the symbol PF.
