PE-backed Body Central (NASDAQ: BODY) has raised about $94.1 million in a secondary public offering of roughly 5.7 million shares of common stock priced at $16.50 apiece. Piper Jaffray and Jefferies & Company led the underwriting. Body Central sold 100,000 of the shares, while certain stockholders, including WestView Capital Partners and PineBridge Investments, sold a total of 5.6 million shares. Both firms acquired stakes in Body Central in 2006. The apparel retailer later went public in October 2010.
