The Carlyle Group is set to sell ARINC to Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) for $1.39 billion. Citi provided financial advice to the company. ARINC provides communications and information processing solutions primarily to the aviation industry, but also serves the rail, industrial security and public safety segments. 2013 revenues are expected to be north of $600 million. Carlyle bought the company in 2007 for a reported $650 million.
