Catterton has provided a $75 million growth capital investment to at-home fitness provider Peloton. The transaction brings the company’s total capital raised to $120 million. Peloton will use the proceeds from the latest financing to expand its software engineering team, open more showrooms, and increase awareness for its products. Founded in 2012, the company offers live-streaming, instructor-led, group fitness classes to homes worldwide. Peloton is also backed by VC firms including True Ventures and Tugboat Ventures; the business previously raised a $30 million financing round in April.
