Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has announced the sale of used vehicle marketplace BCA to Haversham Holdings (LSE: HAV) in a transaction valued at approximately £1.2 billion. Operating in 13 countries, BCA remarketed roughly 1 million vehicles and bought more than 140,000 cars in 2014. CD&R backed the company in 2010 and has since increased its EBITDA by about 85%. Shareholders of BCA will receive £701 million in cash and £104 million in stock. The deal is expected to close in early April.
