April 01, 2014
Data intelligence platform ClearStory Data has raised $21 million in Series B funding from lead investor DAG Ventures, with additional investments from Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. The new capital brings the company's total funding to $31.5 million, including a $1.5 million seed round in March 2012 and a $9 million Series A round (at a $28 million valuation) in December 2012. ClearStory's solution speeds insightful decisions by simplifying access across disparate internal and external data; automating data harmonization and blending; and enabling fast exploration and rich collaborative analysis. The company will use the new capital to scale its platform.
