Collective Bias, the provider of an online platform for social shopper media services, has closed on $10.5 million in financing. New investor Updata Partners led the financing round. Collective Bias will use the fresh cash to accelerate its development, including expanding its reach to international markets. Headquartered in Bentonville, AR, Collective Bias is the manager of Social Fabric, a proprietary online community that blends members’ shopping experiences with retailer brand content. The company also provides retail content aggregation and distribution services.
