CommScope Acquires iTracs To Expand Network Platform

Data-center technology developer iTRACS has been acquired by CommScope, a communication-network management company backed by The Carlyle Group. With the acquisition, CommScope reportedly hopes to strengthen its position in data-center infrastructure management (DCIM). “With iTRACS, we can provide business enterprises around the world with the broadest and best possible solutions for designing, managing, monitoring and planning data-center infrastructure,” said CommScope’s vice president of Enterprise Solutions. CommScopes is based in Hickory, NC; iTRACS is headquartered in Chicago.
