Custom Commerce Platform Teespring Picks Up $35M led by Khosla
November 19, 2014
Teespring has raised $35 million in Series B funding led by Khosla Ventures; Andreessen Horowitz, which led the company's $20 million Series A round in January, also participated in the new investment. Teespring empowers entrepreneurs to create and sell custom merchandise without taking on the risks and overhead normally associated with starting a business by providing all aspects of the process through its platform. It will use the new capital to scale and expand its operations, continue to build its team and launch new tools and resources. Teespring, which has delivered more than 6 million products to over 80 countries, will add Khosla's Keith Rabois to its Board. CustomInk, a social-oriented custom merchandise platform based in Virginia, raised $40 million in funding from Revolution Growth in late 2013.
