Darby Visits Caribbean with Acrecent

Acrecent Financial, a Caribbean financial services company, has been acquired by Darby Private Equity, the PE arm of Franklin Templeton Investments. Based in Puerto Rico, Acrecent offers loan and lease facilities, provides accounts receivable for Caribbean businesses in need of liquidity and in general focuses on solving short-term liquidity and long-term capital needs. The investment is the sixth from Darby's ProBanco Fund II, which targets the Latin American financial sector.
