Digital Advertising Company Avazu Lands $48M Series A

Avazu, a global digital advertising company, has announced a $48 million Series A round led by Gaorong Capital. The technology-driven company focuses on behavioral re-targeting, audience targeting and real-time bidding, providing clients with scalable direct-response and ROI-driven campaigning services. Avazu is comprised of three business units—a private ad exchange & ad network (Avazu Network/Avazu Mobile), a DSP platform (Avazu DSP) and an agency business dedicated to the growing Chinese market (Avazu China).
With offices in China, Hong Kong, Germany and Brunei, Avazu has clients such as Tencent, Baidu, Google and Yahoo! The company will use the funding to aggressively pursue global opportunities through strategic investments and M&A.
