Digital Wealth Manager Personal Capital Banks $50M

Personal Capital, a digital wealth management firm, has completed a $50 million Series D financing led by Corsair Capital, BBVA Ventures and USAA. The online investment service offers clients an end-to-end system for managing money by combining personal finance apps with financial advisors to tailor unique management plans. Its app is used by over 600,000 American families to track over $100 billion in finances. Personal Capital has raised over $110 million in funding, with its most recent round—a 2013 $27 million Series C—valuing the company at nearly $75 million. Jeremy Schein of Corsair will join the Board of Directors.
