Food and beverage outlet operator SSP Group debuted on the LSE under the symbol SSPG at a share price of £2.10 ($3.59). Its gross proceeds were about £482 million ($800 million). At the set share price, the company, which is backed by EQT Partners, has a market capitalization of about £997 million ($1.7 billion). Through 125 airports and over 270 rail stations worldwide, SSP Group operates food and drink outlets, its brands including Upper Crust, Street Food, Millie's Cookies and more. EQT has backed it since 2006; the firm's stake will decline to about 44.7%, assuming no exercise of over-allotment options.
