In preparation for its public debut, Facebook has set its expected price range at $28 to $35 per share. At the midpoint of the range, the sale of 337 million shares would raise $10.6 billion. The social networking king is expected to trade on the NASDAQ under the ticker FB, reportedly on May 17 or 18. Accel Partners, a Facebook investor since 2005, is selling the greatest amount of shares out of all of the company's venture backers, with 38.2 million shares offered. The firm will maintain a 1.6% stake post-IPO.
