First Reserve, a Greenwich, CT-based PE investor focused on the energy industry, has promoted five senior investment team members within the firm's Infrastructure and Buyout funds. John Barry and Alex Williams have been promoted to managing director in the firm's London office. Mr. Barry works with First Reserve's Energy Infrastructure Fund (FREIF), and Mr. Williams is involved in all areas of the worldwide natural resources industry, with particular expertise in mining- and infrastructure-related sectors. Neil Wizel has been promoted to managing director in the firm's Houston office, and helps build investment capabilities in the Downstream and Oilfield Services Sectors. Adi Blum and Mark Saxe have been promoted to directors at the firm's Greenwich office. Mr. Blum will focus on on global midstream energy and power investment opportunities, while Mr. Saxe will help expand the firm's presence in the midstream vertical as it relates to FREIF.
