Sequoia Capital has invested an additional $5 million of Series A financing in Seattle-based FutureAdvisor, a free online personal finance advising service. FutureAdvisor is backed by Y Combinator and angel investors such as Square COO Keith Rabois and Yelp! founder Jeremy Stoppelman. Founded in 2010, FutureAdvisor's noble mission is to make financial advice accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy. The company currently analyzes $4 billion in assets and just unveiled a new tool that helps people save on fees in their 401(k) portfolio.
