VC-backed Gigamon priced its initial public offering at $19 per share and went public. It now trades on the NYSE under the symbol GIMO. Based in Milpitas, CA, Gigamon provides intelligent traffic visibility solutions for enterprises, data centers and service providers worldwide. Its technology helps infrastructure architects, managers and operators observe traffic traversing both physical and virtual networks without affecting the performance or stability of the production environment. Shareholder Highland Capital Partners reduced its stake in the offering from 32.5% to 25.8%.
