Digital recruiting platform HireVue has raised a $25 million funding round led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from existing backers Investor Growth Capital, Granite Ventures, Peterson Ventures and Rose Park Advisors. The fresh capital will be used to expand the company’s platform, services and team to address market demand for talent interaction needs. HireVue provides tools to help job recruiters screen prospects and set up video interviews to assess applicants’ character, cultural fit, personality and potential.
Prior to the latest round, HireVue raised over $28 million in financing, including a $22.6 million Series C round in 2012 that valued the company at about $58 million. Over the past year, the company launched five new products, completed and integrated the acquisition of developer recruiting platform CodeEval and more than doubled its team.
