Immense First Institutional Funding Boosts Qualtrics

VC heavyweights Accel Partners and Sequoia Capital have written a $70 million check for online data collection and analysis company Qualtrics, whose tagline is "sophisticated research made simple." The funding, said to be the firms' biggest joint investment ever, will help Qualtrics double in size and expand its SaaS product offerings. It's also the first round of institutional funding for the 10-year-old company.
