INC Research, backed by Avista Capital Partners and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, has set terms for its planned IPO: the company intends to sell its shares on the NASDAQ under the symbol INCR within an estimated price range of $17 to $20. At the range midpoint, it would raise about $150 million in the offering and claim a $1.1 billion initial market cap. INC Research is a contract research organization focused on Phase I to Phase IV clinical development services for the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries. For the nine months ended September 30, it had adjusted EBITDA of $113.9 million and net income of $26.3 million. Avista holds a pre-IPO stake of 50.1%, while OTPP holds 47.9%.
