ItsOn, a cloud-based platform that's looking to change the mobile experience, has raised $12.5 million of Series C funding. For operators, the platform simplifies business processes and allows for quick deployment of new services, creating revenue through increased consumption while also giving consumers more control over their mobile service.
The round was led by new investor Tenaya Capital with participation from existing backer Andreessen Horowitz. The company, which has now raised over $40 million to date, will use the new investment to expand its sales outside of North America. Stewert Gollmer, managing director at Tenaya Capital, has joined ItsOn's Board of Directors.
