Siguler Guff & Company, a New York-based private equity investment firm, has brought on Jay Koh as a managing director and partner. He will join the firm's senior management team. Prior to Siguler Guff, Mr. Koh was the head of Investment Funds and chief investment strategist at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the development finance institution of the United States government. There, he led the agency’s active emerging markets private equity program, oversaw 33 funds and was involved in managing a portfolio of political risk insurance, direct finance and private equity investments. He has also held roles at R3 Capital and The Carlyle Group, and has served as a law clerk on the U.S. Supreme Court.
