J.C. Flowers Picks up U.K. Credit Management Company

J.C. Flowers & Co., a New York-headquartered PE firm, has acquired Cabot Credit Management from AnaCap Financial Partners and minority co-investors Morgan Stanley and Partners Group. Cabot is a U.K.-based acquirer and manager of consumer debt, with more than £7.7 billion ($11.7 billion) of assets under management covering more than 3.5 million customer accounts. The company's key focus is on acquiring and servicing portfolios of semi-performing debt. J.C. Flowers focuses its investments solely on the financial services industry.
