KarpReilly Closes Second Flagship Fund, Co-Investment Fund
January 24, 2013
KarpReilly, a consumer-focused private equity firm, has closed two funds: KarpReilly Capital Partners II with approximately $210 million of total commitments, and KarpReilly Co-Investment Fund II with approximately $150 million of additional capital. The co-investment fund provides KarpReilly with access to additional equity capital to pursue larger investments, and is funded by the firm's limited partners. Its second flagship fund will pursue investments in consumer growth companies at the lower end of the middle market, like Sprinkles, a California cupcake bakery it announced an investment in earlier this week.
