July 14, 2014
Vestar Capital Partners co-founder Jim Kelley and former Excellere Partners executive Ryan Heckman, as well as local entrepreneurs, have helped raise the $62 million Colorado Impact Fund I, which is dedicated to support local companies. It will reportedly make 10 to 12 investments ranging in size from $2 million to $6 million, targeting four main areas: community health, natural resources conservation, education and workforce development, and economic development. The fund's team is managing the fund on a pro bono basis.
