Why use chemicals to kill weeds when a robot can selectively eliminate unwanted plants? A company that's working on answering that question, Blue River Technology, has landed a $3.1 million Series A round led by Khosla Ventures, with Ulu Ventures and several angels also investing. Blue River's agriculture-focused robot technology is especially suited to organic agriculture and fields with chemical-resistant weeds.
