Kony, the provider of an enterprise mobility platform, has raised $50 million in Series E funding. New investor SoftBank Capital led the round, which included additional participation from current backers Insight Venture Partners, Telstra Ventures and Georgian Partners, as well as first time investors Delta-V and Hamilton Lane. The new investment brings total funding in Kony to about $113 million. It last raised $18.3 million of Series D funding almost exactly one year ago; before that, the company raised $21 million of Series C funding at a $229 million valuation.
