Consumer finance technology company Kreditech has secured a Series C investment totaling €82.5 million; J.C. Flowers & Co. led the round, with participation from previous investors Värde Partners, HPE Growth Capital and Blumberg Capital. Peter Thiel and Amadeus Capital Partners invested earlier this year in a bridge loan that has now fully converted into Series C equity. The company also said it is in discussions for a final closing that could increase the Series C round to over €100 million. Kreditech utilizes Big Data, proprietary algorithms and automated workflows in an effort to build a highly accessible digital bank. Jefferies and Berenberg acted as financial advisors on the transaction.
