Yahoo (NASDAQ: YHOO) has reportedly announced that CEO Marissa Mayer will resign her seat on the company's board once the acquisition by Verizon (NYSE: VZ) closes. The company will also change its name to Altaba after the $4.8 billion takeover is complete, Reuters has reported. The deal has recently come under scrutiny as revelations about security breaches at Yahoo have come to light.
