Markit has set the terms for its upcoming IPO. The company intends to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol MRKT and offer shares at between $23 and $25 per share. The proposed share price could get the company a valuation of up to $4.47 billion. Investors in the company include General Atlantic (11.5% pre-IPO stake), Temasek Holdings (10.47%) through its wholly owned subsidiary Esta Investments and JPMorgan Chase (8.24%), among others. The company offers pricing, trading, reference and valuation services for insight into the global financial markets.
