MVC Capital and Yukon Partners have acquired medical products maker AccuMED Innovative Technologies. Yukon's investment involved both subordinated debt and equity, warranting a minority stake in the company while MVC acquired a controlling interest. AccuMED, which has nearly 1,000 employees, specializes in textile-based class I/II products that touch the body. BMO Harris Bank served as administrative agent on a senior credit facility, while Fifth Third Bancorp served as documentation agent. The company's management will continue operating the business on a day-to-day basis.
