NantHealth Receives $25M to Advance Cancer Research

NantHealth has raised $25 million from Celgene to help use its clinical operating system to aid clinicians and researchers in developing proven new approaches to cancer detection, prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The investment comes mere months after the Kuwait Investment Authority purchased a stake in the company for about $100 million, as part of a larger financing round. NantHealth's platform allows physicians and patients to coordinate best care, monitor outcomes and control cost in real time. It is used by over two-thirds of oncology practices in the U.S.
