Tech Valley Communications, a PE-backed telecom company, has secured a new debt facility through GE Capital, with Webster Bank as a co-lender. Proceeds of the loan will go toward strategic and organic growth opportunities. The company is owned by Riverside Partners, which bought a majority stake in the company in 2010. BIA Digital Partners also has a stake in the company dating back to a refinancing transaction in 2004. Tech Valley was in the news last week, as well, after acquiring TelJet Longhaul's Vermont and New Hampshire fiber networks, giving the platform one of the densest fiber networks in the region.
