Noodles Prices IPO Higher than Expected Range, Goes Public

Noodles & Company priced its initial public offering at $18 per share and began trading on the NASDAQ under the symbol NDLS. The company had previously expected to price its offering between $15 and $17 per share. Based in Colorado, Noodles & Company is a fast-casual restaurant chain centered around noodle dishes. Catterton Partners led an investment group that acquired the company in December 2010 and held a 45.19% stake in the company prior to the IPO. NDLS shares closed up at $36.75 on their first day of trading.
