Not Just Semantix: Segulah to Buy Language Services Co.
June 23, 2015
Segulah has agreed to acquire Semantix Group, a provider of advanced language services, from Litorina Kapital and minority shareholders. Management will retain an ownership stake in the company, which offers interpreting, translation, training and writing services through its network of about 7,000 professionals. Expected to have sales of roughly SEK600 million (€65M) this year, Semantix will mark the second investment from Segulah V following last week's agreement to acquire Nordic retailer Teknikmagasinet. Litorina acquired Semantix from Accent Equity in 2009.
