Oak Hill to Sell Jacobson to Norbert Dentressangle

Oak Hill Capital Partners has agreed to sell third-party logistics provider Jacobson Companies to Norbert Dentressangle (PAR: GND). The transaction is valued at $750 million (€560 million) in cash on a debt-free and cash-free basis, plus a capped earn-out relating to future performance. Founded in 1968, Jacobson had annual revenue of around $800 million in 2013, a 9.5% EBITDA margin and 5,500 employees. It operates two divisions across the U.S.: Contract Logistics Services with 3 million square meters of warehousing across 142 sites and Transportation with a fleet of 350 tractor units and 1,225 trailers. Oak Hill has backed Jacobson since 2007.
