Olympus Partners is said to be acquiring Liqui-Box from The Sterling Group in a transaction valued at around $300 million. Backed by Sterling in 2011, Liqui-Box is a supplier of bag-in-box flexible packaging for the global dairy, beverage and bulk food markets. Its products are used for applications such as coffee drinks, fountain beverage syrup and pumpable liquid foods such as concentrates and sauces. Sterling had initially acquired the company via its third flagship fund, which closed on $820 million in 2010. According to reports, Liqui-Box is said to generate $35 million in EBITDA.
