Primus Capital Partners has closed its seventh fund with $353 million in capital commitments. Primus Capital Fund VII exceeded its $300 million target and is the firm's largest fund to date. Primus did not use a placement agent to raise the fund. Based in Cleveland, the firm invests in companies operating in the healthcare, technology-enabled services and education industries. Primus VII has made two investments so far: a growth capital financing for payment solutions provider CardinalCommerce and the acquisition of Emmi Solutions, a healthcare services company.
