Realtime Launching in U.S. with Grande Financing Round
August 09, 2012
From bootstrapped to a billion dollar valuation is a phrase you don't get to say too often. São Paulo-based BRZTech Holdings has led a $100 million round at a valuation that reportedly exceeds $1 billion for Realtime, a company that's making the real-time web a reality by developing framework for building live web applications. Founded way back in 1997 as Internet Business Technologies, Realtime is now making its stateside launch with new offices in Santa Monica and New York. The company's cloud-hosted messaging technology does just what it sounds like—constant content updates for web and mobile in just a few milliseconds.
