Samsung Venture Gets Stoked About Mobile Broadband

Samsung Venture Investment has invested $5 million in mobile broadband innovator Stoke to support the company's penetration of the LTE market on a global level. Stoke stakes claim to a combined $108 million in venture capital raised to date and counts top VC firms like Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sequoia Capital among its backers. Samsung Venture primarily invests in the IT sector with a focus on consumer electronics, digital media, display technology, semiconductors and telecommunications.
