Scheduling software maker ShiftPlanning has attracted a $1 million Series A financing led by Point Nine Capital. A handful of angels, including Philip Gude and Christoph Janz, also pitched in. The startup's platform, which takes care of time clocking, payroll, reporting, HR and other communication online, is being used to coordinate the scheduling of volunteers at the London Olympics.
