Siluria Technologies has announced the initial close of its Series D financing on $30 million. The round was led by Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures. Siluria has developed a catalytic process for transforming natural gas into transportation fuels and commodity chemicals in an efficient, cost-effective and scalable manner. With the new funding, the company has now raised almost $100 million, receiving a valuation of almost $162 million with its $33 million Series C financing in early 2013. Existing investors in the company include ARCH Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Presidio Ventures.
