Simply Measured, a provider of social media analytics and measurement solutions, has secured $20 million in Series C funding led by Trinity Ventures, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Four Rivers Group, MHS Capital and other existing investors. The Simply Measured platform, available in social, professional and enterprise pricing structures, allows users to quantify performance, determine impact and derive strategic direction from social media data.
Based in Seattle, the company has now raised about $29 million in funding to date; previous financings include a $750,000 seed round in 2011 and an $8 million Series B round led by Bessemer in January 2013. The company has been quickly growing, expanding its team to 115 full-time employees with plans to double that number in 2014. The new capital will scale its solutions and expand its product offerings.
